Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has added a new aqua park project to the city’s sports and social life investments. Introduced as the largest aqua park in Central Anatolia, the facility began serving visitors as of August 22.
Operated by Spor A.Ş., the facility was established on a total area of 1,800 square meters. At the center of the aqua park is a 30-by-60-meter pool with a depth of 1.40 meters. The facility also features five separate water slides offering different experiences.
Designed with a capacity of approximately 1,500 people, the facility brings swimming, cooling off, and water entertainment together in one location while adding a new recreational space to Kayseri’s recreation infrastructure.
Changes to the Usage Schedule
Following the aqua park’s opening, the usage schedule was revised in response to high demand and feedback.
According to a statement by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Spor A.Ş., following the implementation of the necessary environmental and safety measures, the facility will also serve exclusively for women on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Thus, the facility’s usage schedule has been expanded to accommodate different visitor groups.
A New Contribution to Kayseri’s Recreation Infrastructure
The aqua park investment stands out in terms of diversifying sports and social spaces in Kayseri. With its large pool area, water slides, and high visitor capacity, the facility offers a new outdoor recreation option for city residents, particularly during the summer season.
The investment, implemented by Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, adds a new recreational area to the city’s social life and sports infrastructure.
