Established in 1946, the TED Open continues to maintain its place in the tennis world after 78 years. The tournament’s long history represents a strong sporting tradition that goes beyond numbers. This year’s tournament also carries special significance for TED Sports Club. As the club celebrates its 90th anniversary, the TED Open brings an important sporting legacy back to the courts, together with its 78-year history.
Turkish Tennis Players Also Take to the Court
One of the highlights of the tournament is the participation of Turkish athletes. A total of 15 Turkish tennis players are competing in the 2026 edition. Sharing the court with opponents at the international level, the players are competing both to advance in the world rankings and to gain valuable experience for their careers.

The Final Day Will Feature a Special Exhibition Match
The final match of the tournament will be played on Sunday, September 13. Before the final, prominent names from the tennis world, Fabrice Santoro, Cédric Pioline, Jacco Eltingh and Richard Krajicek, will take to the court for a special exhibition match.
Following the crowning of the champion, the event will conclude with an awards ceremony, adding another chapter to the 78-year tradition of the TED Open.
